Scholarship Sewanee began in 1994 as “Scientific Sewanee,” a half-day poster session held at the end of the spring semester. In its early years, approximately 40 posters affiliated with the sciences were on display. Since that time, this event has expanded to include all departments on campus and features oral presentations in addition to research posters.
Scholarship Sewanee 2024 will be held on Friday, April 26, featuring 134 posters and 66 oral presentations representing anthropology, art, biology, physics, chemistry, earth and environmental systems, economics, English, history, music, neuroscience, psychology, politics, religious studies, and more. The McCrady lecture will be given at 1:00 in Blackman Auditorium by , Associate Professor of English and Director of the Comparative Literature Program at the University of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Carolina.
