2024 Sewanee Perimeter Trail Weekend---April 19-20
Come join us for Perimeter Trail Weekend!
This is the perfect weekend to join alumni, parents and friends for a weekend of hiking!
Preliminary Schedule
Friday, April 19
6:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner. Mingle with favorite professors at this energy-building meal and hear what's new in Sewanee's outdoor life.
Saturday, April 20
7 a.m. Pre-hike Breakfast. Take courtesy vans to starting location. Hikers may choose to hike the full trail (20 miles) or half trail (12 miles). Full hikers head counterclockwise on the Perimeter Trail from Gate 5.
12 p.m. Lunch at the Cross. Half trail hikers are finished and can take courtesy vans back to McGriff Alumni House.
6:30 p.m. Celebration Cocktails and Dinner.
What to bring?
Comfortable hiking shoes/boots
Refillable water bottle
Sunglasses
Backpack
Bug Spray
Cost: $165 person
Included in the price:
- All courtesy car rides
